MapFusion delivers its services on an Application Solution Provider (ASP) Internet services model through Solution Providers and partners. The advantages of delivering SIM solutions over the Internet are: decreased cost of integrating spatial technology into other applications; improved distribution efficiencies; reduced costs for adding spatial data to corporate IT; reduction in the time to implement industry-specific solutions; elimination of the capital expense associated with enterprise model deployments; instant access to world class capabilities and experience; minimal requirements for corporate resources during application deployment.

MapFusion anticipated the need for industry-specific location solutions, and devoted four years to developing and perfecting a new, proprietary Internet GIS engine capable of flexibly serving the special needs of each industry. Today’s MapFusion location-intelligent solutions can address a significant range of industries, but are currently applied to just two:

  • Transportation and Logistics Management (TLM)
  • Real Estate (CRM)
